The Iowa 4-H Foundation is dedicated to continually upgrading and improving facilities at the Iowa 4-H Center in order to give Iowa 4-H’ers have a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. Thanks to contributions from donors like you, the following improvements have been made:
Elm Kitchen Remodel:
Donors and volunteers provided the funding and labor to install new floor, cabinets and countertop, paint and trim as well as new appliances!
Tornado Safe Room
Construction of the tornado safe room was completed in the spring of 2015. The facility offers campers shelter in the event of severe weather.
New sets of bunk beds will make staying at the Iowa 4-H Center a little more comfortable! These beds can be found in Oak & Elm Villages.
The roads were re-graded in the summer of 2015 making entry onto the Campgrounds a little more friendly!
This past year, Hickory Lodge received a new roof, windows and gutters.
The swinging bridge was repaired and opened up to campers in the summer of 2014. It is a favorite feature of campers at Clover Woods.
Cedar Lodge received new, energy efficient windows last spring.
